We hebben de afgelopen maanden gemerkt dat de ondergrondse containers aan het Willemsplein en in de Heuvelstraat genoeg ruimte bieden voor het afval van u en uw buurtgenoten. Daarom hebben we besloten om aan de Schouwburgring geen ondergrondse afvalcontainers te plaatsen. We bekijken wat we met die plek gaan doen. U blijft dus de ondergrondse containers aan het Willemsplein en in de Heuvelstraat gebruiken voor uw papier, PMD, GFT en restafval.
Reageren op dit besluit
Als u hierop wilt reageren, kan dat bij de gemeente Tilburg. We noemen dit een zienswijze. Doe dit binnen zes weken na ontvangst van deze brief. Dit kan per e-mail naar ogc@tilburg.nl of per post: Gemeente Tilburg, ter attentie van afdelingshoofd BAT, postbus 90155, 5000 LH Tilburg.

No underground waste containers at Schouwburgring
Since March 2025, you have been using the underground waste containers at Willemsplein or in Heuvelstraat. Previously, we informed you that underground containers would also be placed at Schouwburgring in the future. This will not happen. In this letter, you can read more about this decision.
Over the past few months, we have found out that the underground containers at Willemsplein and in Heuvelstraat provide enough capacity for the waste of you and your neighbors. Therefore, we have decided not to place underground waste containers at Schouwburgring. You will continue to use the underground containers at Willemsplein and Heuvelstraat for your paper, PMD, organic waste (GFT), and residual waste.
Responding to this decision
If you would like to respond, you can do so by submitting your views to the Municipality of Tilburg. We call this a formal opinion. Please do so within six weeks of receiving this letter.
